Karl is primarily engaged in general commercial litigation and has advised in a number of complex commercial matters including commercial contracts, company law, fraud claims, insolvency and trade practices. He has a particular interest in transport and international trade law and is one of Auckland's leading experts in maritime, aviation and general transport and trade law and has experience in both non-contentious and dispute resolution aspects. He has had extensive involvement with vessel repair and construction, registration, financing and chartering issues, transport and logistics documentation and related agreements, and with cargo claims and securities enforcement.
Karl advises on related regulatory, compliance and insurance issues, and on marine casualties. He also acts on aviation financing and claims matters. Outside of his work, Karl is also a qualified pilot. |
