Lowndes Jordan takes part in Netsafe's "Closed to Harassment" online self defence course
As part of Netsafety Week, Lowndes Jordan was Closed to Harassment from 10-11am on Friday 28 July to give our team the opportunity to complete a “Social Media Self Defence Course” provided by Netsafe.
Everyone should be able to enjoy safe and positive experiences online, especially those who have to maintain an online presence for work, but unfortunately online harassment is on the increase. The aim of the course is to encourage resilience, build knowledge and provide tools to our team to navigate an online world that remains imperfect.
I learned a lot from today's Closed to Harassment campaign, which was engaging and provided practical real-world advice. I feel more confident and informed with options to deal with any online harassment I might encounter now.
