Bryan has experience in a range of corporate, securities and commercial matters including M&A, capital raising, due diligence, company secretarial and governance, corporate and entity structuring, peer-to-peer lending and managed funds (retail and wholesale), joint ventures, shareholder arrangements, various commercial services, distribution arrangements, licensing, negotiations and exits.

Bryan also has experience in various financial regulatory matters including the NZX Listing Rules, anti-money laundering (AML / KYC), Financial Markets Authority (FMA) engagement and exemptions, financial advice and financial services regulation.

With a professional interest in technology, particularly in blockchain, Bryan has experience in initial coin offering projects (ICOs) and cryptocurrencies as well as the commercialisation of blockchain technology.

Bryan started his career as a judges' clerk, before establishing a business venture in the Auckland CBD. During his time in-house at NZX Limited, New Zealand's only licensed securities exchange, he oversaw the initial public offerings (IPOs) of CBL Insurance, Tegal, Investore Property and NZ King Salmon under the Financial Markets Conduct Act (FMCA). Bryan has also worked at global and local law firms in New Zealand.
